The Hemingway 1932 Classic Spey Fly Reel Kit - First Edition

The Reel: The Hemingway 1932 is a Classic click-and-pawl reel. With its sizeable four-inch diameter spool, diamond-shaped handle, and FRIST EDITION 1932 Hemingway Inshore star emblem, this is the reel to experience classic Atlantic Salmon or Steelhead Spey casting.  The drag system is internally set to prevent line over-spooling during casting; this traditional drag system allows the angler to apply pressure on the spool enabling the angler to experience the actual battle. Saltwater ready, incredibly strong, and made ready to handle any environment. The Hemingway 1932 Classic is a proper heavy-duty classic reel with the traditional classic sound of the ingoing and outgoing clicker to match.

The Case:  The Hemingway® 1932 Classic fits perfectly in its handmade bespoke leather reel case, made of brown Belgian leather, stitched with Irish linen thread, and lined with fleece. Handmade in Wiltshire, England.

The Fly: The Matador Fly is a classic fly that dates back to the 1800s.  A traditional Victorian-style pattern that Salmon and Steelhead fisherman has been a coveted favorite for years. The Matador fly comes in its own presentation tin display box with the Ernest Hemingway Inshore pewter emblem.
